A very likeable, easy-drinking red from the Gard region north of Nîmes. Deepish purple in colour with plenty of dark fruit like blackberries and blackcurrants, as well as menthol and liquorice. Well-balanced with silky tannins. Made according to biodynamic principles: organic matter is added to enrich the vineyard soil, absolutely no chemical inputs are used, and biodynamic preparations and herbal teas are applied.
Try this with Beef Wellington, Butternut and Sage Gnocchi, or Lasagne (meat or veg)
