Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape of French origins but, thanks to its adaptability, can be be grown in any environment. Losito’s is grown in the hot dry climate of Puglia where the grapes grasp all the full potential of their ripe fresh characteristics. With 6 months in French oak this excellent Cabernet displays classic blackcurrant and dark plum notes thanks to the climate, but with gentle notes of vanilla, cocoa and spice thanks to the barrel ageing. A subtle nod to France ensures this is very much ‘old world’ style Cabernet and absolutely worth trying.
Perfect with fatty meats like lamb, sticky glazes or reductions and truffle flavours.
