Refills
Long before David Attenborough’s inspiring campaign to reduce plastic use, Fairhaven offered laundry and washing up liquid refills, plus numerous other products which are plastic free and now this has been expanded to provide refills for shampoos, conditioners, hand wash and body wash.
Step 1: Find a clean and empty bottle with the size displayed.
Step 2: Ask someone from the Fairhaven team to refill your container.
Step 3: Once it's empty bring it back to be refilled again.
What Can You Refill:
We have a wide variety of refills from Ecover, BioD, Ecoleaf, Faith In Nature, and Alter/Native brands. Shampoos, Bodywashes, Hand Soaps, and Conditioners especially have a wide range of scents to pick from but that’s not all we do! Washing up liquid with a few varieties including an unscented variant and Laundry liquids and Fabric softeners to keep your clothes smelling great.
What Size Containers Should You Bring:
Currently we refill Body Soaps, Conditioners, Hand Soaps, and Shampoos into bottles which are 2 litres or smaller and for laundry liquids, fabric conditioners, washing up liquids, and multipurpose cleaners up to 5 litres.
Helping The Planet:
With each bottle you refill your doing your part to help the environment and preventing a plastic bottle from entering a landfill. We’ve currently managed to refill over 3400 litres last year and with everyone’s help stopped a colossal amount of plastic from being thrown away. So next time you’re at Fairhaven make sure to bring your empty bottles to help us reduce the demand for disposable plastic.
