Salvaje Syrah Roussanne

‘Salvaje’ means wild, feral or savage yet this rather delicious wine is none of the above, except in the sense that wild things have something more vivid and authentic about them than their domesticated cousins. With just a splash of Roussanne in the mix this is a profound violet-red wine with untamed berry aromas and flavours. In common with many unsulphured reds there’s real vibrancy here yet unlike most it has an elegant and refined side to its intense character.
