Gavi 'Spinola' DOCG NSA 750ml

It’s harder to make good white wine with no added sulphur than good red. Not least because the tannin in most red wine also acts as a preservative… but we love this dry, elegant white from Piedmont in north-west Italy. Sometimes dubbed ‘the Chablis of Italy’, Gavi is a classy white with delicate stone and orchard fruit and some minerality. Well rounded and delightful with poultry/fish and light pasta dishes.
