Viognier is a grape variety on the up. It’s difficult to grow (especially organically), but with skill in the winery it produces elegant wines of some sophistication. This keenly priced vin de pays is typically soft with some nutty/apricot hints. It’s gentle, easy-drinking, well-balanced and great value.
